I needed a quick repair to my roof because of a displaced tile on my roof during a high wind rain storm. Gauthier roofing was quick to send an employee to repair the damage. From the first contact to the finished work, Ron and the crew were nothing short of incredible. I was completely informed throughout the entire process. There is nothing about the entire process that isn't explained in full and they followed through exactly like explained. I chose Ron's company from among three quotes. The quote wasn't the cheapest, but the way it was presented and the detailed explanation of what would be done instilled confidence in me. As it turned out, my choice was the right one. After the job was done, if someone who didn't know about the roof replacement had visited me, they wouldn't have believed such a major job had taken place. Around the house was very clean and there was no trace of such a big job anywhere. Maybe, if someone looked hard enough, they could find one or two nails, and that was it. The workers who worked on the roof replacement had to do it in very difficult weather conditions, in extreme, unimaginable heat. Jokingly, you could say that they won this weather like a lottery (so far the two hottest days of the year). Despite this, they worked very efficiently, without unnecessary breaks or conversations. Everything worked like small cogs in a clock, unbelievable. When they finished, I went up to the roof to see the results of their work. I, most of my professional life, worked as an R&D engineer in the automotive industry and my knowledge of roofing is, let's say, basic. However, I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The shingles were nice, evenly placed, the vents were sealed, the gutters were clean, the skylight fitted well. If in the future any of my friends or acquaintances need to change the roof covering, I will really sincerely recommend Ron's company.

It was a pleasure to have an experienced company re-shingle the roof of my house and garage. They also replaced the eavestroughs and downspouts. Kudo's to their workers for paying attention to details and working in the most demanding conditions ( 34 degrees and high humidity). Want to thank the Gaultier team for a job well done. We had our roof stripped, plywood added, Shingles replaced, soffits and fascia replaced. It was a two step process (roof one day, siding work another) I really appreciated the ongoing communication I recieved with Ron through the process. It was all done in a very timely fashion and at a competitive price. Cleanup was great and attention to detail was spot on. They even replaced the eavestroughs at no cost when they realized the not so old eavestroughs I had were too damaged. I appreciate that kind of integrity. Love the new "all black" look of our house. I can’t attest to the quality of work, but I can attest to the quality of service. But from what I am gathering from the President’s email and the website, the work is probably amazing. They unfortunately can’t do what I might be looking for (but will be using them if needed in the future) but they gave me such a detailed email about what could or could not be an issue. I couldn’t believe it! The President responded so quick which that alone was really impressive. Thank you for the assist. This meant a lot in a stressful situation.

Highly recommended! Ron was really clear with his estimate and scope of work. We needed to match our house to our newer garage roof and they brought out shingle samples so we could make sure the colour was what we wanted. Workers arrived on time and really protected our house, gardens, and other areas with tarps and boards. Work was completed in one day and clean-up was exceptional... we haven't found any nails or debris on our property. Where our existing vent pipes were in good shape, they freshened the paint instead of replacing them. The quote was exactly as expected, even with respect to any additional charges for replacing rotted plywood in excess of the allowance. Would definitely use them for any future jobs.

We had strong storm one night and had some of our roofing shingles blow off the roof. We called Gauthier Roofing and Siding the next day and explained the issue at hand. I was concerned if the roof wasn't repaired promptly, that if another storm came through that day that we could have extensive water damage in the house. They came out that day and repaired the roof! Designing and building our own two story, A-frame, R-2000 home, assisted only by family, friends and a few tradesmen, was an ambitious task when we were young. Fast forward forty years. When we decided to replace the light blue siding, white fascia, soffit, eavestrough and downspouts that we’d installed, it was time for the professionals! After several estimates, the online reviews, website and phone conversations with Ron won us over. We conveyed to him our vision of a Muskoka green, country-look home, with brown ‘rain-gear’ to match our existing brown windows. The stonework on the front of our home and around the front door and the wooden decks on the front and back of our home were staying. We hoped the look would complement our mature, treed, neighbourhood. In the heat of the summer, Jean-Guy and Reg brought it to life! The workmanship and attention to detail was a wonder to watch. The completed look of our forever home is exactly what we’d envisioned. The compliments from neighbours and passers-by continue to surprise us. I was in the market to have my roof replaced and had consulted a few local businesses for quotes including Gauthier Roofing and Siding. Everyone provided their quotes however this company was the only one who followed up immediately to see if I was satisfied with the quote and if I had any questions. Ron was was extremely thorough and explained everything. Not only was he extremely cordial, I dont think he sleeps because he will answer an email any day or time of the week. The customer service is something I never expected to receive and was ultimately the selling point even though i had quotes that came in lower. The crew that was onsite was amazing and they were clean and polite. They would let me know of issues they encountered and would also send pictures to Ron who would then forward to me. This company is extremely transparent and nothing is hidden in what they say they will do or charge you for. I'm also getting my gutters redone from them and am happy I chose this company. When a new roof is needed, most people want a reliable, punctual, honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable company that can do a great job. We got all of this, and more, from Gauthier Roofing and Siding. Ron is prompt to answer questions, and provides detailed information about what to expect. Our new roof looks terrific. They showed up when they said they would (important to us!) to provide an estimate, and then showed up as promised in November 2020 to work on the roof. All completed in one day, even though there was at least two layers of old shingles to strip. The crew was polite, considerate and the clean up was perfect. Gauthier Roofing & Siding has done work in the past for us so there was no question who we would call to replace our eaves. Do to the covid virus we were unable to get the work done as set out but that didn't stop Ron from e-mailing us almost every week to keep us abreast of the situation. We finally got it done and the father,son team that did the work were great, they did a great job and cleaned up after. We would highly recommend anyone to go with the best company. Bev & Loui Svarc.

We recently chose Gauthier Roofing and Siding to replace our shingles and eavestroughing after extensive research and a number of other quotes. What impressed us about Gauthier was the attention to detail, knowledge and professionalism from the get-go. Ron was exceptional about keeping us informed and requesting feedback on each stage of the work done. Danielle, office worker extraordinaire, kept us apprised of necessary info in a friendly, yet professional manner. Communication was A1!! Love love love!!! What a great experience we had with Gauthier Roofing. From the first call/email we made,to the job completion. Ron was a pleasure to deal with very professional. The whole staff was a pleasure....from the lovely office manager to the crew that came to the house. Not one complaint do we have with the work we had done. Every question I had was answered . I would recommend this excellent company to anyone who has a home improvement project. You will not be disappointed. Excellent excellent customer service!!!

Last year my roof was falling apart due to defective shingles, so I called Gauthier and they took care of everything! Everything was covered by the manufacturer, so Gauthier took care of all the paperwork, then came out and did a wonderful job!Both Ron and Michelle were extremely helpful, and I would recommend them to anyone!

I am writing this review as recent customer. I had my roof and eaves replaced three years ago by Gauthier Roofing. Ron was very thorough and attentive. I was well informed, starting from the estimate to the job completion, knowing what to expect at each stage. Ron provided timely calls and/or emails throughout the process, addressing our concerns of weather, timeline and material used. His crew is very professional on the job site, leaving the site tidy and clean during the job. My yard was returned to its original condition upon completion of the job. My roof and eaves look great three years later. I have had no problems and have recommended Ron to many friends and family. I will definitely use Gauthier Roofing again and highly recommend them.

They did the siding on my house and garage under hangs, replaced old siding and installed all new eves all while I was on vacation. The house was absolutely stunning when I got home. I have conducted business with Gauthier Roofing since I became a homeowner in 1994. Throughout those years and two homes owned, I would only use Gauthier Roofing to make any repairs or replace my roof. Over the years I’ve had three roofs, a skylight installed, siding, caulking and flashing around the windows replaced. It has brought me peace of mind knowing that it was done correctly. Ron is extremely professional and honest. His staff and employees conduct the same work ethic and for that alone Gauthier Roofing is worth every penny for peace or mind that the job is done once and it’s perfect.

Gauthier Roofing was very professional in handling my leaky roof situation. They stripped off the old shingles, cleaned up the mess and repaired the roof where a potential problem could have given me grief in the future. A final inspection was done after the job was complete by the owner Ron himself. I would definitely recommend Gauthier Roofing to anyone.

We priced out having our eavestroughs replaced a couple of years ago and decided on Gauthier Roofing and Siding. Were we ever happy with our choice!Quality products installed by quality workers left us so satisfied that when it came time for our roof to be replaced last summer, they were the first people we contacted.The crew that came out to do the roof were awesome, worked themselves to the bone and cleaned up the mess all through and after the job was complete.It all starts at the top as Ron will stay in email contact with you before, during, and after the job is done.I recommend them to anyone who is asking.

The men who came to replace our eaves, fachia and soffits were very professional and friendly. They answered all our questions and cleaned up after the job. We would not have known they had even been there except for the fact that the house looked great! Would definitely hire them again.
